The people behind it
Built by people
who live here.
The Aisle isn't an outside company bringing a cookie-cutter expo to Anniston. It's a team of local artists, business owners, and community builders who decided to build something worth attending.
Core team
Founder & Organizer
Matt Headley
Matt manages the Anniston Downtown Farmers Market for the City of Anniston and has spent over a decade building websites and marketing strategy for small businesses across northeast Alabama. The Aisle is his attempt to give local wedding vendors a room they deserve.
Venue Partner & Lead Florist
Heather Headley
Heather runs Heather Florals, operates the Bloom Bar, and serves as Program Manager at Anniston Museums & Gardens — which is how The Aisle was able to book Longleaf Event Center at no cost. She's also the reason the room will look the way it should.
Live Music & Creative Experience
Jean Ellison
Jean Ellison is a musician, educator, and connector. She co-founded The Music Box in Anniston and brings live music to the expo floor — and the kind of creative energy that makes a room feel like a celebration. She's been helping couples and communities make memories for decades.
Live Music — The Collective
Stephen Ellison
Steven Ellison is a piano and keys player with degrees in Music Education and a Master's in Jazz Piano. A certified educator entering his 16th year of teaching, he's spent years performing in pit orchestras for theatrical productions. Part of The Collective.
Beauty & Hair Experience
Dealové Aniosadebe
Award-winning master loctician and international ambassador with 15+ years in natural hair. Dealové brings a live hair studio to the expo floor — real transformations, real artistry, in real time.
Video & Content
MAWH Productions
The camera that captures it. MAWH Productions handles video content for The Aisle — from vendor spotlights to expo day coverage.
Official Photographer — Kingdom Focus
Jessica Whitfield
Jessica Whitfield of Kingdom Focus Photography is The Aisle's official photographer. On October 18, she'll be on the show floor offering VIP portraits to couples — and capturing the full day for the archive.
Live music
The Collective
Live music all day on the expo floor. Jean Ellison leads The Collective — three performers who know how to make a room feel like a celebration.
Lead — The Collective
Jean Ellison
Jean Ellison co-founded The Music Box in Anniston and has spent decades helping communities celebrate together. She leads The Collective at The Aisle — bringing live music, creative energy, and the kind of presence that makes a room feel alive. She's the reason the expo will have a heartbeat.
Keys & Music Direction
Stephen Ellison
Steven Ellison holds degrees in Music Education and a Master's in Jazz Piano, with 16 years of teaching and years of pit orchestra performance. He brings the musical spine to The Collective's sound on October 18.
Vocals — The Collective
Berritt Haynes
Born and raised in Pell City, Alabama, Berritt Haynes is a vocalist, songwriter, and performer who has toured extensively across the South. A former Team Blake Shelton contestant on NBC's The Voice, he is one of the region's most recognized entertainers.
Advisory team
The people who said yes before there was anything to say yes to — and whose networks, relationships, and credibility helped open the first doors.
Community Advisor — Regional Tourism
Cher Dulaney
Cher Dulaney represents Calhoun County tourism and has been a connector and advocate for The Aisle since the early conversations. She bridges the expo to the broader regional community and brings visibility far beyond the room.
Community Advisor — Anniston Museums & Gardens
Sarah Woolmaker
Sarah Woolmaker serves as Assistant Director of Anniston Museums & Gardens — the venue making The Aisle possible. She was part of the conversation that turned the idea into a confirmed event, and her institutional knowledge and community relationships make her one of the most connected people in the room.
Confirmed vendors
The vendors on this floor were hand-selected. These aren't directory listings — they're businesses we believe in.
Farm Venue — Redbird Willow Farm
Michelle Hornsby
Redbird Willow Farm is a working farm venue in the heart of East Alabama. Michelle was one of the first calls we made and she said yes immediately. The llamas are confirmed.
A/V & DJ — Sound Solutions
Joey Hutto
Sound Solutions is running the A/V for the entire show — and Joey Hutto has a booth on the floor so you can talk to him about your wedding while you're there.
Live Wedding Art
Michelle McGrady
Michelle McGrady paints the scene as it happens. She'll be creating live art on the expo floor October 18 — come watch the process, and talk to her about painting your wedding day.
Bar & Hospitality Partner
Coldwater Mountain Brewpub
The bar at The Aisle is Coldwater Mountain Brewpub. October 18. Plan the wedding. Have a drink.
Community partners
The venues, organizations, and people who made this possible before there was anything to say yes to.
Venue Partner
Anniston Museums & Gardens
The Aisle is held at Longleaf Event Center — including the Rotary Room — inside Anniston Museums & Gardens. Donated at no cost to the event through Heather's role as Program Manager. Peak garden season. Real venue. $3,500 retail value.
Future Venue Partner
Shannon Guy
Shannon runs The Farm at Silver Creek in Silver Creek, Georgia — a beautiful event venue that will host a future Aisle expo as we grow west into West Georgia.
