Every bachelorette is a party.
Every premarital retreat is clinical.
The Aisle Retreat is both — a real experience you’d want to attend, with a 90-minute facilitated conversation woven in that makes the whole weekend matter.
The counseling component isn’t the main event. It’s the thing that makes the main event worth something.
Retreat formats
Four types. One vision.

Where we’re going
Alabama retreat country.
We’re partnering with Alabama retreat venues — camps with chapels, cabins, and grounds worth being on. Camp Sumatanga in Gallant, AL is our first candidate: a Methodist retreat center with a chapel, cabins, conference space, and outdoor grounds already in Matt’s ministry network.
We don’t own the retreat center. We partner with one and bring the programming.
What a retreat weekend includes
More than a seminar. Less than therapy.
Friday evening arrival, Saturday full day, Sunday morning close
8–12 couples per retreat — small enough to go deep
Aisle Readiness Assessment debrief — your Iris report shapes the weekend
Facilitated small group sessions led by Aisle Certified Guides
Unstructured time — real rest, real meals, real space to talk
Opening session with Matt Headley — the theological anchor piece
Timeline
The expo comes first.
The first Aisle Expo is October 18, 2026 in Anniston, AL. After we’ve run the expo, built the Guide network, and proven the model — retreats launch in Q2 2027. That’s when we open registration to waitlist members first.
First retreat pilot: Spring 2027 · Camp Sumatanga, Gallant, AL
