Anniston Museums and Gardens has a former pool deck on the north side of the property — big, flat, and perfect for exactly what we're about to do with it.
On October 18, we're turning it into a dance patio.
What's Out There
Edison string lights overhead. A DJ spinning a mix of first dance classics and songs couples actually want to dance to. Four food trucks parked along the west edge of the lot. And somewhere north of the whole thing, the Gazebo lit up for photos.
It started because we kept hearing the same thing from couples at bridal shows: "We felt like we were just walking from table to table." Which, fair. That's most bridal shows.
We didn't want that. We wanted the October 18 show to feel a little bit like a wedding — unhurried, beautiful, a little bit celebratory. The dance patio is the most literal version of that instinct.
The Bloom Bar Is Right There
Heather Florals will be set up right at the patio door with the Bloom Bar — custom floral arrangements built on-site while you watch. Redbird Willow Farm has a floral installation nearby. You can step outside, get a flower, eat from a food truck, and dance in the afternoon light before you go back in to talk to vendors.
The patio is open all day. You don't need a VIP ticket to go outside.
